Next destination?

I want to go to Nepal, but I don't think my parents would agree to it. My mom promised me that we would go to Korea again sometime next year, but I don't know, I mean how can I tell? Both of my parents are busy. Anyways, if next year, I will visit Seoul again, I want to go there during fall, around september-November, many people said that the scene is really nice almost like picturesque. Nest time, I should visit:
- cheonggaecheon stream
- nami island again
- petit france village
- dongdaemun shopping complex,( I don't even know that the area is a lot bigger!)
- hongdae, (not at night though)

Not really sure :( cause my dad already said that he wish to go to Australia to look for my university. i still want more Seoouul!

Shopping In Fashionable Seoul

If you are really into fashion and cute, quirky stuff, then Seoul would be a paradise for you! Here is some area that has lots of amazing shops nearby

1) dongdaemun: once you get off the dongdaemun station, you will see a lot of fashionably clothed people as well as oldies carrying their shopping bag around, they're heading to the area around doota. Personally, I prefer to shop at doota because the shops are located strategically and you can fit the clothes quite comfortably though most of them don't have the exact fitting room, but the clothes in doota are quite expensive, for those of you who don't want to shop expensively, then you better go to migliore, it is next to doota but majority of them have the same type of clothing and their price are cheaper, although the shops are tightly packed, I'm sure that once you get there, it won't be a problem anymore ;)

2) myeong-dong: I love this area so much! Here you can find lots of quirky glasses stores and stuff, the price are a little higher than in dongdaemun though because most are branded stores. Don't forget to go to alo eyewear's store! You can find h&m, forever 21, zara, and uniqlo here.
Subway : take line 4(blue line)

3) insadong:for those of you who are craving for arts and culture. I love the art shops around knife gallery. Don't forget to go to Hana art gallery and explore their shop downstairs.

And my advice is not to go around itaewon. You won't feel comfortable there, although there are lots of tourists, but I just don't feel safe. Except if you really like to go to nightclubs and like the company of new friends, then this is the suitable place for you.

Whatever Happens To Youth Culture?

Compared to other countries, our country’s art and cultures development still lays dormant. Up until now, most art performances are still considered a prestigious show, because of the grand décor in every art performances and rich audiences that attended it. How ironic? Because with over than 235 million people living inside our country’s border, we should have lots of young creative mindsgrowing up inside every village in Indonesia’s provinces. It is sad that access to networking is the only barrier that limits their chance to develop their talents in art.

Have you ever heard of Kelola Foundation? Ever since it is established in 1999, Kelola has continue to make their vision of promoting Indonesia’s arts come true by offering learning opportunities to talented Indonesian artists through Hibah Seni, an art fund to help performing artists organize their performances in cities around Indonesia. And Magang Nusantara, that offers an opportunity to do three months internship in an art organization.

However, it is still considered hard for this foundation to find generous organizations that shares the same vision with them and willing to donate Rp.16.500.000 (US$1.925,55) for an artist to join the Magang Nusantara program. As time goes by, and as I get to know this foundation thoroughly, we got the idea to work together with young generations. Why not help talented artists to develop their talents by donating Rp.100.000 (US$11.67) per month? Imagine if 17 youths donate that amount for Kelola. We can contribute to help an Indonesian artist develop their talent!
